Meet The Principal

Rachel Kilgore is the principal and founder of Kilgore Consulting, LLC. At the core of her work is a belief that strong strategy and compelling proposals are essential tools for advancing meaningful change. Kilgore Consulting is committed to helping entities articulate their value, build internal capacity, and secure the resources they need to thrive.

Prior to founding Kilgore Consulting, Rachel was employed with the Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council for over ten years. Here, she held several roles, including grant specialist and strategy and development coordinator, where she gained hands-on experience in program development and oversight, evaluation, compliance, fiscal management, and audit preparedness. She oversaw both state and sub-grant programs. She holds a master's degree in public administration and continues to stay current on best practices in grant management and strategic planning.
